ASDS Summary/Response Forms (pkg 50)

The Asperger Syndrome Diagnostic Scale (ASDS) is a quick, easy-to-use rating scale that can help you determine whether a child has Asperger Syndrome. Anyone who knows the child or youth well can complete this scale (including parents, teachers, siblings, speech­language pathologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other professionals).

The ASDS Summary/Response Forms are used to collate and summarise the responses. It contains 8 sections:

1. Identifying Information (Demographics)
2. Score Summary
3. Section used to interpret the quotient
4. Profile of Scores - Graph display of scale and quotient scores
5. Response Form - List of test items
6. Key Questions - Examiner questions that can be used interview the parents, guardians etc. of the assessed child
7. Interpretation and Recommendation - Space for the examiner to record patient information, to aid in interpreting results and providing recommendations
8. ASDS Characteristics - Quick access to characteristics of the ASDS for the examiner.
