CAS2: Rating Scale Rating Form (pkg 25)

The Cognitive Assessment System 2nd Edition, Rating Scale (CAS2: Rating Scale) is a norm-referenced measure of cognitive ability based on the well-researched PASS cognitive/neuropsychological theory (Planning, Attention, Simultaneous, and Successive).

Completed by teachers, the CAS2: Rating Scale provides scores for PASS scales as well as a total score.

The scores from the CAS2: Rating Scale can be used to support a referral, supportive services or special placements; supplement a comprehensive evaluation; compare teachers' ratings with test results; help plan and design academic interventions by revealing behaviours and skills the teacher considers problematic or lacking; and monitor the effectiveness of interventions.

Results are particularly useful when used as part of a comprehensive evaluation or as a pre-referral tool.

The CAS2: Rating Scale Rating Form is completed by teachers and generates scores for PASS scales as well as a Total Score.
