The Maryland Addictions Questionnaire (MAQ) can quickly inform clinicians of how severe the addiction is, how motivated the patient is, how to best treat the problem, how likely relapse is and whether treatment may be complicated by cognitive difficulties, anxiety, or depression.
A self-report inventory, the MAQ is composed of 111 items.
The Maryland Addictions Questionnaire Autoscore Form is completed by the respondent. Their responses are transferred to the scoring sheet inside the form.
To score, the clinician will tear off the perforated strip and remove the inner scoring grid, proceeding with the scoring process. Once scores have been computed, the Profile Sheet can be utilised to provide a visually representation of the data.
