RCFT Stimulus Card

The Rey Complex Figure Test and Recognition Trial (RCFT) is a tool used to measure visuospatial ability and visuospatial memory. It standardises the materials and procedures for administering the Rey complex figure, measures recognition memory for the elements of the Rey complex figure, and assesses the respondent's ability to use cues to retrieve information.

The RCFT captures information on five domains of neuropsychological functioning: visuospatial recall memory, visuospatial recognition memory, response bias, processing speed, and visuospatial constructional ability.

The 8½" × 11" stimulus card contains a computer-rendered replica of the original Rey complex figure. The normative data presented in the manual were collected using the Stimulus Card. Use of a different complex figure stimulus may render normative comparisons invalid and may affect the validity and utility of the obtained instrument.
