Social Conflict Game

Designed for use with children (8 years and over) and adolescents who experience frequent conflict with peers, this game teaches seven cognitive and behavioural skills to reduce conflict:

1. Recognising that circumstances are often the source of conflict
2. Assuming personal responsibility for conflict
3. Learning the other person's point of view
4. Disputing beliefs that justify aggression
5. Thinking ahead about consequences
6. Using assertive rather than aggressive behaviour
7. Using problem-solving skills

The included Social Conflicts Inventory tells you which skills to focus on and, in turn, which of the game's 200+ cards to use.
