Social Conflict Workbook

Designed for use with children (8 years and over) and adolescents who experience frequent conflict with peers, the activities and exercises in the Social Conflict Workbook reinforce the seven cognitive and behavioural skills to reduce conflict that are presented in the game:

1. Recognising that circumstances are often the source of conflict
2. Assuming personal responsibility for conflict
3. Learning the other person's point of view
4. Disputing beliefs that justify aggression
5. Thinking ahead about consequences
6. Using assertive rather than aggressive behaviour
7. Using problem-solving skills
