The Sensory Processing Measure – Second Edition (SPM-2) is a norm-referenced measure of function in the visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, gustatory, proprioceptive (body awareness), and vestibular (balance and motion) sensory systems, as well as praxis and social participation.
Firmly grounded in Ayres Sensory Integration theory, the new SPM-2 updates an instrument widley acclaimed as the best of its kind.
The SPM-2 is a revision and expansion of the Sensory Processing Measure (2007) and Sensory Processing Measure–Preschool (2010), covering 4 age ranges:
- Adult (21-87)
- Adolescent (12-21)
- Child (5-12)
- Preschool (2-5)
- Infant/Toddler (4-30 months)
The SPM-2 Adult Kit includes:
- SPM-2 Manual
- 25 Adult Self-Report Forms
- 25 Adult Rater Report Forms
- Unlimited use of the Adult Driving Self-Report Form (online) and Driving Rater Report Form (online) on the WPS Onine Evaluation System

• Masters degree in Psychology, OR evidence of equivalent level of study.
