What if you could evaluate and manage concussions with an easy-to-use online tool?
ImPACT, an FDA cleared online tool for baseline and post-injury testing, measures visual and verbal memory, reaction time, and processing speed to help determine if a patient (ages 12-80) can safely return to activity.
Neurocognitive testing is the “cornerstone” of modern concussion management. It gives healthcare providers objective data to evaluate a patient’s post-injury condition and aids in tracking recovery for safe return to activity.
ImPACT is a 20-minute test developed for ages 12 to 80 and delivered via a secure web portal. It produces a clinical report of test results to assist healthcare providers with record keeping.
ImPACT has two primary uses:
Before the onset of an activity, a baseline test is conducted to measure the baseline performance.
In the event of an injury, a post-injury test is administered and compared to the baseline scores and/or normative data.
When you buy ImPACT, you get access to clinical reports that show the patient’s scores and concussion history, including the summary composite scores and individual subtest scores.
ImPACT testing is compatible with PC's and Laptops.
ImPACT baseline testing is a computerised neurocognitive test that can be used to measure brain function prior to head injury - baseline neurocognitive testing allows you to document the healthy brain function of an uninjured test taker. If the individual is an athlete, baseline testing should be completed prior to an athletic season, including practices. If a head injury occurs, healthcare providers will compare the baseline test results to those from a post-injury test. Differences in scores give healthcare providers insight into the specific deficits an individual is experiencing after a concussion and helps them create tailored treatment plans.
ImPACT baseline testing assesses an individual’s visual and verbal memory, reaction time, and processing speed before a head injury.
