The Conners Continuous Auditory Test of Attention (Conners CATA) assesses auditory processing and attention-related problems in individuals aged 8 years and older. By indexing the respondent's performance in areas of inattentiveness, impulsivity, and sustained attention, the Conners CATA can be used to evaluate attention disorders and neurological functioning.
The Conners CATA can be used in conjunction with the Conners Continuous Performance Test 3rd Edition™ (Conners CPT 3) which is a task-oriented computerised assessment of attention-related problems in individuals aged 8 years and older. The Conners CATA and Conners CPT 3 can be purchased as a combo kit or individually.
The Conners Kiddie Continuous Performance Test 2nd Edition (Conners K-CPT 2) assesses attention deficits in children ages 4 to 7 years old. Based on the well-established Conners CPT paradigm, the Conners K-CPT 2 takes half the time to complete, making it more appropriate for younger children. The 7.5 minute performance-based assessment uses pictures of objects (e.g. boat, soccer ball, train) that are familiar to young children. The child is asked to respond to targets (all objects except soccer ball) and refrain from responding to non-targets (soccer ball) that appear on the computer screen.
