The Adult Self-Report (ASR) and Adult Behaviour Checklist (ABCL) obtains adults' self-reports of diverse aspects of adaptive functioning and problems (ASR), and obtains reports from people who know the adult well (ABCL).
The ASR and ABCL are suitable for use with clients from 18-59 years of age.
To view an individual's adaptive functioning strengths and problems, each ASEBA item and scale score is displayed on a profile.
Norms for ages 18-35 and 36-59 are displayed on separate profiles for men and women.
The ABCL makes it simple to obtain important information from additional informants, such as spouses, parents, siblings and friends.
The ABCL Handscoring Profile scales include:
Adaptive Functioning
*Friends *Spouse/Partner *Family *Job *Education *Mean Adaptive Functioning
Substance Use Scales
*Tobacco *Alcohol *Drugs *Mean Substance Use * Critical Items
Syndrome Profile(printed on the back of the Adaptive Functioning Profile)
The ABCL Handscoring Profiles are laid out like the ASR Handscoring Profiles, except that the ASR Profile norms are based on self-reports, whereas the ABCL Profile's norms are based on ratings of the same national sample of adults by people whom the adults selected as knowing them well.
