The Multidimensional Anxiety Scale for Children 2nd Edition (MASC-2) assesses the presence of symptoms related to anxiety disorders in youth aged 8 to 19 years, aiding the early identification, diagnosis, treatment planning and monitoring of anxiety-prone youth.
The measure distinguishes between important anxiety symptoms and dimensions that broadband measures do not capture.
The MASC 2 is a multi-rater assessment with 50-item self (MASC 2-SR) and parent (MASC 2-P) rating forms.
The MASC-2 Self-Report Quickscore Form is completed by the youth/adolescent. They mark their responses onto the external layers of the form, and the results then transfer through to the hidden scoring grid within. The examiner uses these internal layers to calculate the results. All QuickScore Forms include norms conversion tables (to convert the raw scores).
