The Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) is used to assess adult personality and psychopathology, from 18-89 years of age. It assesses psychopathological syndromes and provides information relevant for clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, and screening for psychopathology.

It contains 344-items, and is self-administered. It consists of 22 non-overlapping full scales covering constructs relevant to a broad-based assessment of mental disorders.

The PAI can be administered and scored in three ways: pen-and-paper, scoring software or online.

The PAI Software Portfolio (PAI-SP) Version 3.0 CD-ROM is a powerful diagnostic and interpretive system that can administer and score the PAI and Personality Assessment Screener (PAS). Examinees can complete the assessment on-screen (via Counter Serials) or clinicians can key enter data obtained from the Software/Item Response Booklet.

The PAI Software Portfolio (PAI-SP) Counter Serial Number (50) allows for on-screen administration of the PAI, via the PAI-SP.

Instead of inputting responses from a completed print administration, the client sits at the computer (where the PAI-SP is installed) and inputs their responses directly into the program, which can then be scored immediately.

Counter Serials allow for a more efficient process, and eradicate the need for hard copy forms when using the Software.
