The Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (Piers-Harris 2) is used to assess self-concept in children and adolescents from 7-18 years of age.

It provides a complete picture of self-concept using a simple yes-or-no response format, and is based on the child's own perceptions rather than the observations of parents or teachers.

The Piers-Harris 2 provides a Total Score that reflects overall self-concept, plus subscale scores that permit more detailed interpretation

The Piers-Harris 2 Autoscore Answer Form includes space for the child or adolescent to mark their responses (yes or no), as well as a detachable Profile Sheet (which the clinician uses to facilitate scoring and to plot a profile).

The Profile Sheet includes space for the raw scores (for each subscale), and the converted T score. The T scores are then plotted to provide a visual representation of test results, and aid in interpretation.
