The Adolescent Coping Scale 2nd ed. (ACS-2) is an important research, clinical and educational instrument designed to support young people when examining their own coping behaviour. Updated to measure the usage and helpfulness of coping strategies in general and specific situations, it reliably assesses 20 distinct coping strategies.
A follow-up program, Best of Coping, is designed to provide teachers, youth workers, social workers and counsellors with a structured, comprehensive program for helping adolescents develop resilience and coping skills.
The ACS-2 can be administered and scored online via the ACER Psychological Testing Platform (APT).
The new APT platform enables clients to easily manage their candidates, assign assessments and purchase credits. Clients can search, order and prioritise candidates and results based on the chosen criteria – and generate reports when it suits. There’s an informative Help section with useful information and some short webinars.
Candidates will benefit from the consistent and intuitive interface and easy-to-use navigation.
