The Pediatric Behavior Rating Scale (PBRS) is a standardised, norm-referenced parent and teacher rating scale that aids with identification of symptoms associated with early onset bipolar disorder, in children and adolescents from 3-18 years of age.
The multi-informant approach allows clinicians to evaluate a child's or an adolescent's symptoms and behavioural characteristics both at home and at school, helping determine if a child displays a higher rate of mood instability and aggression in one environment.
The PBRS items address elements that are unique to early onset bipolar disorder, including mood swings, chronic irritability, grandiosity, explosive outbursts, and emotional meltdowns, and aids in identifying symptoms that can help you make a differential diagnosis.
The PRBS is able to be administered and scored online, via PARiConnect. PARiConnect assesses your clients when and where you need-you can administer assessments online and generate score and Interpretive Reports instantly (assessment dependant).
The Online PBRS Score Reports provide scores and profiles based on response data from an i-Admin.
