The Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire (SIQ) can be used to screen for suicidal ideation in adolescents from 12-18 years of age. It assesses the frequency of suicidal ideation and serves as a valuable component in a comprehensive assessment of adolescent mental health.
The SIQ consists of 30 items and is appropriate for students in Grades 10-12, and the Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire Junior (SIQ-JR) consists of 15 items and is designed for students in Grades 7-9.
The SIQ and SIQ-JR can be administered and scored online via PARiConnect.
The SIQ Score Reports provide scores and profiles based on response data from an i-Admin. SIQ Score Reports may only be used for the 30 item SIQ - the SIQ-JR requires its own specific Score Reports.
