Sounds-Write Extended Code Reader: The Worst Day

The Sounds-Write Readers can be used to teach reading, spelling and writing.

Consisting of 18 Readers, the Extended Code series focuses on particular sounds to give children plenty of practice of the most common spelling alternatives presented in each of the Extended Code Units.

A muddy Curtis returns home from school and grumbles to his mother about poetry, his teachers’ ideas about football, and his friend Robert. They talk things through a bit. Curtis starts out thinking this is the worst day of his life, but does he end up feeling that way?
