Conners Continuous Performance Test 3rd Edition™ Online (Conners CPT 3™ Online)

Age: 8+; Admin time: 14 minutes; Format: Online

The Conners CPT™ 3 Online is a task oriented computerised assessment of attention related problems in individuals aged 8 years and older. By indexing the respondent’s performance in areas of Inattentiveness, Impulsivity, Sustained Attention, and Vigilance, the Conners CPT 3 Online can be a useful adjunct to the process of diagnosing Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as other psychological and neurological conditions related to attention.

During the 14-minute, 360-trial administration, respondents are required to respond when any letter, except “X”, appears. There are 6 blocks (sets of trials), with 3 sub-blocks each consisting of 20 trials. Responses from the 14-minute, 360-trial protocol are used to compute scores that assess various aspects of the respondent’s attention.

The updated version of the measure transforms it from standalone software to a web application that can be accessed on multiple computers, while maintaining the psychometric properties and paradigms.

The results from the Conners CPT 3 Online can complement information obtained from standardised behavior rating scales, such as the Conners 4th Edition (Conners 4®) and the Conners Adult ADHD Rating Scales 2nd Edition (CAARS™ 2).

Conners CPT 3 Online can be used in conjucntion with the Conners CATA Online.

Conners Continuous Auditory Test of Attention® Online (Conners CATA® Online) - Coming Soon

Age: 8+; Admin Time: 14 minutes; Format: Online

The Conners CATA® Online assesses auditory processing and attention-related problems for an in-depth assessment of attention in individuals aged 8 years and older.

During the 14-minute, 200-trial administration, respondents are presented with high-tone sounds that are either preceded by a low-tone warning sound (warned trials) or played alone (unwarned trials). Respondents are instructed to respond only to high-tone sounds on warned trials and to ignore those on unwarned trials. On most trials, the low-tone and the high-tone sounds are played in the same ear (non-switch trials). On switch trials, the low-tone warning sound and the high-tone target sound are played in different ears, requiring the respondent to shift auditory attention from one ear to the other.

Conners CATA Online can be used in conjunction with the Conners CPT 3 Online.

Conners Kiddie Continuous Performance Test 2nd Edition™ Online (Conners K–CPT 2™ Online) - Coming Soon

Age: 4-7 years; Admin Time: 7.5 minutes; Format: Online

The Conners K-CPT™ 2 Online assesses attention-related problems in children ages 4 to 7 years.

The performance-based assessment uses pictures of objects (e.g. boat, soccer ball, train) that are familiar to young children. The child is asked to respond to targets (all objects except the soccer ball) and refrain from responding to non-targets (the soccer ball) that appear on the computer screen.

The computer-generated scoring reports have been designed to guide assessors through each step of the recommended interpretation process.

There are three report types available:

  1. Assessment Report: Provides detailed results from a single administration. An individual’s scores are compared to those in the normative sample, and elevations at the scale and subscale level are indicated.
  2. Progress Report: Provides an overview of change over time by combining and comparing results between two to four administrations. These reports are ideal to use when monitoring treatment and intervention effectiveness.
  3. Dataset Report: Provides a spreadsheet of responses and scores from a single test administration and can facilitate further statistical analyses.

The Assessment Report will consume a use the first time it is generated. Once you have generated a report for an individual, you will not be charged for regenerating the same report with different parameters.

The Progress Report and Dataset (csv) do not consume a use and can be accessed for free post Assessment Report generation. For an assessment to be included in the Progress Report or Dataset, the assessment must have a report status of Generated (if the status of the Assessment Report says Completed but has not yet been generated, you must generate an Assessment Report before including the assessment in the Progress Report or Dataset).

Please note that these assessments require Local Administration (email invitations cannot be sent).
